The ministry of Rivers of Joy was begun from a very humble beginning. It started as a prayer group in my house in the year 2000 to pray for the nation of Kenya and families every once a week. We held a Kesha in my house every Thursday to pray for the same.

Then in 2001, God spoke to me to begin monthly meetings in my office, where I was doing business of management of properties in the Capital City of Nairobi. People would gather for prayer and the sick also began to come, cases of Aids and other diseases were healed, family relationships were healed.

Then we outgrew the two offices and I had to look for a hall. We got one where we were in the year 2002. In the same year we began the morning glory services which begins at 6AM to 7.45 Am every day and the Sunday services every Sunday and also Grace Lunch hour services daily from 12.30 PM to 1.45pm.

The Lord has been gracious to this ministry; the government of Kenya has already registered this ministry as a Church under Rivers of Joy Faith Christian Church.

We have expanded by God’s grace and we have been able to open churches in Mombasa and Machakos.

God is our Ebenezer.

We are called to fulfil the great commission Matt 28:18-20 and Isaiah 58:12.
